M. Ponti Azani or “Ponti” is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution Practice Group of Arifin, Purba & Firmansyah.
 
Ponti has significant experience acting as counsel in complex, high-value commercial and business disputes across a wide range of industries, including energy and resources, construction and infrastructure, shipping, and healthcare. He is also well experienced in domestic and international arbitration, civil disputes, administrative law disputes, and criminal litigation. In 2015, he received tribute from the Australian Bar Association (ABA) for his assistance in defending 2 (two) Australians, who faced the death penalty in Indonesia.
 
Ponti graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Indonesia in 2008 and obtained his master’s degree in Trade, Investment, and Competition Law & Policy (MTIC) from the World Trade Institute of the University of Berne, Switzerland in cooperation with the University of Pelita Harapan, Indonesia.
 
He is a registered Advocate of the Indonesian Advocate Association (Peradi) and certified International Arbitration Attorney (MBiAm) of Bali International Arbitration and Mediation Center.
